Reading books provide a great escape from everyday life and that’s just one reason why I love The Ideal Man by Julie Garwood.
I must confess that I have read every single book written by Julie Garwood and I’m never disappointed. I’m so confident in Julie’s writing style that I will buy any book she’s written without reading the synopsis because I know it will be great. She’s just that good of a story teller.
A few weeks ago I was in a rush to grab a book before heading out on vacation and I ended up grabbing The Ideal Man and ran out the door – after paying of course. I began reading it while relaxing by the pool and did not put it down until I was done. Yes, I literally read the entire book in one day.
The Ideal Man tells the tale of Dr. Ellie Sullivan, a 20-something surgical prodigy with a history of violence. When Ellie was young, she became the object of one mans obsession and it almost killed her. In an effort to protect Ellie, her parents took extreme measures to hide her from this obsessed man and it worked. That is until Ellie had to go home for her sister’s wedding.
Ellie’s parents are happy to see her, but are worried about what might happen now that she’s home. Little do they know that she was also the witness to a crime by ruthless killers who are known to eliminate any and all loose ends.
Thankfully, Ellie has some protection in FBI Agent Max Daniels, who follows her home and pretends to be her boyfriend.
There is a lot of romance, a lot of action, and a lot of laughs in this great story and I highly recommend you pick this gem up today!
As always, I hope you love this book as much as I do!
The Ideal Man can be purchased on Amazon for $7.99 and virtually anywhere books are sold!
