The Microdelivery Peel From Philosophy
The health of my skin is very important to me, so I’m always trying new products that claim to make your skin feel softer or look younger, but one product really lives up to those claims and that’s Philosphy’s Microdelivery Peel.
I received a sample of Philosophy’s Microdelivery Peel about a month before my wedding as a bridal shower gift from my mom. She purchased a Philosophy gift set called Here Comes The Bride and received the free sample with her order. Thankfully she decided to give it to me, because after just one use I fell in love and ended up buying the full size product so I could get my skin in tip-top shape before my big day. As a matter of fact, I used this product on my big day to give my skin that extra glow. I felt like a queen!
As you can see from the photos below, the Microdelivery Peel is a two part process. The first step involves applying the orange vitamin c/peptide resurfacing crystals to your clean skin. I dab a bit on my forehead, cheeks and chin and then gently rub it in with my fingertips using a circular motion. Be gentle, because the crystals are abrasive and if you scrub too hard you could end up with a red face and no one likes that.
After about 60 seconds of gently rubbing the crystals onto your skin, you will apply the lactic/salicylic acid activating gel. I squirt just a little onto my fingertips and then apply it in sections. I apply the gel in sections to conserve how much of the product I use. As soon as this gel hits your skin, it gets hot for a second or two. It’s really nice, but unfortunately the warming sensation doesn’t last very long.
Once you’ve applied the gel all over your face, it will look foamy, which means the gel is doing its work! Leave the product on your skin for at least 3 minutes and then rinse!
The Philosophy Microdelivery Peel leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and I use it once a week. Honestly, it’s the least I can do for my skin after all the damage I do to it every week.
I hope you give it a try, because I know you will love it as much as I do!
Word of advice: Register with Philosopy because they are always emailing out coupon codes and I never buy anything these days without some sort of promo code.
